In December 2024, as a subcontractor, “ERCC” LLC began work on the overhaul of the approaches to the bridge at km 194+575 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh.
The P-55 road is important for the unimpeded delivery of goods to the ports of Odesa and Mykolaiv, as it starts from the suburbs of Odesa, crosses such public roads of national importance as H-24 Blahovishchenske - Mykolaiv, H-14 Oleksandrivka - Kropyvnytskyi - Mykolaiv and ends at the junction with the public road of national importance H-11 Dnipro - Mykolaiv near the town of Novyi Buh.
The existing pavement was in extremely poor condition - significant pitting of the asphalt concrete pavement, cracks, and in some places its absence.
The road belongs to the II technical category, the total length of the repair section is 5.5 km. The project envisages the overhaul of the road section with the installation of a new structure with a cement concrete pavement, which provides the necessary strength of the road surface in this area, which is characterized by heavy transit traffic of heavy vehicles heading to Mykolaiv and Odesa. In addition to the actual pavement repairs, the project envisages the overhaul of the bridge at km 194+575 with a length of 109 meters.
As of the end of 2024, on the 1.4 km long section of the road, the following works were performed: milling of the existing asphalt concrete pavement layer, dismantling of the lower layers of the existing crushed stone pavement base, reinforcement of the subgrade with M400 cement to a thickness of 0.3 m, arrangement of a 0.2 m thick granite screening layer, arrangement of a 0.21 m thick crushed stone-sand mixture with a 0-70 mm fraction. In addition, the base layer was made of concrete mix B7.5 Btb 1.2 with a layer thickness of 0.16 m
