In November 2024, as a subcontractor, “ERCC” LLC started works on the overhaul of the approaches to the bridge at km 174+647 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh on the section PK 1756+80 - PK 1791+00 (3420 meters long)
The road P-55 is important for the unimpeded delivery of goods to the ports of Odesa and Mykolaiv, as it starts from the suburbs of Odesa, crosses such public roads of national importance as H-24 Blahovishchenske - Mykolaiv, H-14 Oleksandrivka - Kropyvnytskyi - Mykolaiv and ends at the junction with the public road of national importance H-11 Dnipro - Mykolaiv near the town of Novyi Buh.
The existing pavement was in extremely poor condition - significant pitting of the asphalt concrete pavement, cracks, and in some places its absence.
The road belongs to the II technical category, the total length of the repair section is 5.04 km. The project envisages the overhaul of the road section with the installation of a new structure with a cement concrete pavement, which provides the necessary strength of the road surface in this area, which is characterized by heavy transit traffic of heavy vehicles heading to Mykolaiv and Odesa. In addition to the actual pavement repairs, the project provides for the overhaul of the bridge at km 174+647 with a length of 54.76 meters.
As of the end of 2024, a 1.5-meter-diameter polyethylene culvert with portal and slope walls was installed at the facility. In addition, all types of pavement works have been completed along the main roadway and the cement concrete pavement has been waterproofed. At present, works are underway to arrange the roadside.
