One of the projects recently implemented by our company is the construction of the platform at the Kyiv International Airport (used to be called Zhulyany).
Within the scope of the project was completed the dismantling and relocation of existing constructions and utilities, that entered the construction zone, the laying of the surfaces, stabilization of waterlogged soils of the subgrade, creation of the cement-concrete covering of the peron, creation of communication networks, creation of power networks and lighting masts of the platform, construction of a drainage network (an underground collector with observation wells and a polymer concrete drainage tray).
The peculiarity of this object is a fairly short construction terms because the construction site of the new platform on three sides adjoined to the existing elements of the airfield, namely to the two operating aprons and to the taxiway. Along with this taxiway, most of the aircraft that takes the airport pulls out to take off or to the terminal. Before the engineering staff of "ERCC " LLC was a difficult task, which was to organize the construction that the work was completed within three months and at the same time the construction should not in any way limit the airport work of receive flights. In addition, with the beginning of construction work, a significant waterlogged soil of the roadbed was revealed, which required additional measures to stabilize it.
Despite all the difficulties faced by "ERCC" LLC during the construction of this object, all works, including installation and commissioning of specialized engineering equipment, were performed at a high technical level in compliance with all rules and regulations and completed in a certain period of time by the Customer. To date, the platform has been actively exploited.
Status of the object as of November 2018 - construction of the object is completed. The object was commissioned in early 2018.
