One of the important directions that the "European Road-Construction Company" LLC is engaged in is repair work in the process of exploitation of artificial airfield coverings. These works include the elimination of defects in artificial coatings, repairing and replacement of sealing elements of deformation joints, the treatment of artificial coatings with specialized reagents to improve the reliability and durability of coatings.
One of the objects where all of these types of work were carried out is the State Enterprise "International Lviv Airport named after Danylo Halytskyi". As part of the work, more than 10 km of deformation seams were repaired with complete replacement of sealing elements of the seam chamber. Also, repair of areas with artificial coatings was carried out by fast-hardening solutions, in places where destruction occurred during use.
In addition, the processing of cement-concrete coating with reagents based on silicon-organic compounds was made, which prevent the premature destruction of cement-concrete coating, and also protect the coating from the harmful effects of anti-icing reagents.
Since the airport is actively increasing passenger traffic and, accordingly, the number of flights, the work must be carried out under the conditions of the operating enterprise in the tight deadlines.
