European Road Construction Company LLC continues to increase the volume of work. Another task for the staff of our company was the implementation of the project for the overhaul of public roads of local importance O151101 (Mykolaiv - Kherson) - Lubomyrivka - May Day - (Kazanka- (R-47)) km 0 + 000 - km 11 + 000. The road O151101 from the village of Shevchenkove to the village of Halytsinovo should become a connecting transport artery between the road of state importance M-14 and cargo ports located in the Bug estuary. Given the significant flow of goods that will move along this road, the design documentation provides for the installation of pavement of rigid type, ie cement concrete.
Although this road, according to the classification of highways of Ukraine, belongs to the roads of local importance, the design decisions for major repairs provide for the use of modern technologies and materials. For example, the project documentation envisages the use of pre-formed seals for sealing joints, the use of which by all road construction market participants became possible after harmonization of the European standard for this technology in Ukraine, which was conducted by our company together with the Research Institute of Construction Products and Materials. In addition, the required coefficient of adhesion of the wheels of paved vehicles will be provided by the roughness of the coating, applied by modern technology "quiet concrete", which was also borrowed from European practice and is just beginning to be implemented in Ukraine.
Work on the facility began in mid-September 2021. During this time, the site was milled along the entire length of the road, dismantling the structure of existing pavement on the site length of 9 km, laying the base of gravel thickness 0.20 m and gravel-sand mixture fr.0-40 mm reinforced cement to the brand M20 on the floor with a total length of 7 km. Laying of the upper layer of the coating of cement concrete of the tensile strength class at bending Btb 4.0 on the section with a total length of 3 km was also performed. Traffic on the repaired section of the road is scheduled to open by the end of 2021.
