The limited liability company "European Road Construction Company" carried out work on the replacement of the destroyed reinforced concrete bridge over the stream with a 3-hole metal galvanized corrugated pipe Ø 2.5 m; Ø 2.6 m; Ø 2.7 m. The structure is designed for the passage of rainwater and meltwater. Galvanized metal pipes are designed for the passage of water in non-pressurized mode.
The existing public highway M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk belongs to the I technical category, the road has the following parameters:
roadway width - 4x3.75 m; traffic lanes - 2x3.75 m shoulder width – 1.4-3.4 m; the height of the embankment is 4.9-5.2 m.
Corrugated metal pipes were adopted with a round cross-section. The length of the MHC pipe is 44.60 m, with a longitudinal slope of 8%. The ends of the end links of the pipes with a cut along the slope of the embankment, which is 1:1.5. At the entrance and exit, anti-filtration screens and monolithic openings with a thickness of 0.35 m made of monolithic reinforced concrete class C16/20, F200, W6 were installed. Surfaces in contact with the ground are coated with waterproofing.
Taking into account that, according to geological investigations, weakly bearing loess-like soils lie at the base, the project provided for the replacement of weak soil to a depth of 1.3 m. The foundations of the artificial structure are designed and made in the form of a gravel-sand cushion with reinforcement with geogrid layers and installation of waterproofing with the use of a geomembrane.
The backfilling of the assembled MHC was carried out layer by layer (layers of 20-30 cm) by grain screening. To prevent damage to the galvanized coating, before backfilling, the body of the MHC was wrapped with a geotextile with a density of 250 g/m2.
Reinforcement of the channel and slopes of the embankment was made of monolithic concrete C16/20, F200, W6. Monolithic reinforced belts are arranged at the ends of the structures cut along the slope of the embankment. To strengthen the slopes of the embankment in front of the structure at the entrance and exit, structures in the form of retaining walls made of monolithic reinforced concrete were arranged. A new road surface was installed at the reconstruction site.
The status of the facility as of 2024.- repair work is 100% completed. The facility is put into operation.
